I Can Not Offer My Kids Christmas Presents And I Won't Apologize for This

Christmas in the house is similar to Christmas in most homes. We've got a tree, decorations, and textures on our own mantle. But under our tree there aren't any piles of xmas gift ideas. You can find no need lists left for Santa. You will find no closets full of wrapping paper and bows, and no gifts concealed where my kids won't see them. That's perfect. I really don't give my children Christmas gift ideas.

Many people even tell me it has abuse to never give my children Christmas gifts.

But in my house xmas is about family time, observing our blessings, and being grateful. It's not about needing a pile of fresh expensive toys.

We do get 1 family gift each year. In years past our family gift has been matters like a secondary, console gaming system, or even brand new, fancy TV.
